Not Such Good News
What started out looking like good news has turned bad. The surgery was performed this afternoon to bypass part of Pam's intestines to allow the backup of fluids to drain. That part went well and the draining has begun which hopefully will give her some relief from the tightness and discomfort in her abdomen, as well as shortness of breath. The bad news is that Pam has cancer coating her abdominal wall and organs. She in ICU tonight on a ventilator. Not much else to say. Hoping tomorrow brings even a hint of good news.
